King Cobra Sex Cult

Bio

King Cobra Sex Cult is a six member occult rock band blending surf punk with an apocalyptic aura of psychedelic and heavy metal sounds to captivate audiences and ignite any dance floor or mosh pit. Performances are drenched in rock'n'roll cinema at its finest - incorporating dancers, projections, costumes and art installation.

Fronted by Egyptian lead singer Akram Said and Romanian vocalist Andra Zlatescu, the band crafts immersive, ritual-driven songs built for late night parties that rock, and aren't fronted with fake or cliched personas.

The leads are joined by Timothy Popowich and Carlo Schefter on guitar, Ross Kerr-Wilson on bass, Luis Figueroa on drums and Jono Hunt on special effects. In an age of perpetual numbness, their sound is a freak-out laced in reverb, pulsing low end, and incantatory vocals drawing audiences into a dark, oceanic trance that is primal, groovy and ceremonial.
